Water Testing
The current water
testing procedure requires a 24 to 48 hour incubation growth phase in
order to detect and confirm one colony forming unit (cfu) of
bacteria per 100ml sample.
FluoroQuik does not require a grow up phase and can detect and confirm one cfu of bacteria in less than 5 minutes!
FluoroQuik detects extremely low levels (50 picomole) of enzyme
signal.
For testing water samples, a water sample is added to the small tube
or cuvette and placed into the fluorometer.
The result is read on the fluorometer in minutes.
